Myrtle Beach

South Carolina

The ocean shapes everything in Myrtle Beach, especially how people come together. Beyond the boardwalk, neighborhoods reveal cafes buzzing with conversation and the aroma of roasted coffee wafting through open doors. Local restaurants maintain a steady rhythm, serving fresh seafood and familiar faces long after visitors leave. Around Market Common and Murrells Inlet, gift shops and small boutiques line shaded streets, their windows filled with colorful, handmade items that feel personal. The air carries salt, laughter, and the constant beat of a city owned by the people who keep it thriving all year. In Myrtle Beach, being local means staying connected to the coast, to work, and to each other.

Alaina Franks

Local Account Manager

Hi! My name is Alaina Franks. I am a proud Fairview, NC native - a small tight-knit town right on the outskirts of Asheville. My love for local business stems from my family's rich history of owning and operating businesses in Buncombe County for over 100 years. I understand the love and hard work that is poured into every day as a business owner. In Fall of 2023 I traded my corporate marketing career for a role at LoLo with the anticipation of helping bridge the gap between small businesses and their communities. Where I was raised, and LoLo was brought to life, supporting local has always been a core belief. My joy comes in the form of a warm cup of local coffee while I browse a cozy bookstore… or a freshly-brewed cider and locally-raised burger at the brewery while the dogs and kids play… and of course some live bluegrass playing in the background! With each LoLo gift that I send, I hope that I give someone else a reason to stop in and get a little taste of that joy that I so love!
