Aslin Beer Company - DC

1740 14th St NW
Washington, DC 20009

Aslin Beer Co. was founded in 2015 by Andrew Kelley and Kai Leszkowicz. The name, Aslin, comes from the family that connected Andrew and Kai through marriage; they each married a daughter from the Aslin Family. Andrew’s professional background was in finance and consulting, while Kai worked in public service. They bonded over a shared interest of craft beer and home-brewing, which eventually lead to the idea that “We can do this too.” Since the inception of Aslin Beer Company, we've aimed to create a culture that celebrates beer with a passion and depth of knowledge that's contagious to others. Through our rapid growth, we've come to realize that our beer is not the only good we have the opportunity to cultivate, but that our community is truly at the core of what we do. While we think beer is fun, and we (really) like to experiment, we’ve also got an intense dedication to brew and provide quality beer of every kind. From ales, to sours to those hefty DIPAs, we invite you to dive in with us, the lager's fine. Let's redefine American beer culture, reeducate our palates and revive our passion for really good beer, together.

Local Independent Businesses Are Our Favorites

At LoLo, we’re head over heels for local independent businesses, and for good reason! These heroes are what make our communities truly special. Did you know that neighborhoods with thriving indie shops see home values outperform others by a whopping 50%? Supporting local means, you’re not just enjoying unique goods but boosting your property value too! Plus, these local gems create two-thirds of private-sector jobs, keeping our friends and family employed right here at home. And here’s the kicker: for every $100 spent at a local business, an extra $58 stays in our local economy. That’s more money for better schools, safer streets, and everything that makes a community remarkable. When we support local independents, we’re not just spreading delight – we’re investing in the very heart and soul of our neighborhoods.
