*As a non-profit partner, you can donate your LoDough to AMOS. You will not receive LoDough on spending with them.* The Asheville Museum of Science offers interactive exhibits and programming on earth and life science disciplines and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math). Exhibits include interactive displays on the French Broad River, Carolina forestry, weather, geology and paleontology, among others. A classroom and a STEM lab houses scientific tools and instruments such as a Van de Graaff generator, electric circuits, data collection sensors and microscopes. The Museum’s education programs provide scientific exploration with hands-on experiences for all ages. Super Science Saturdays are drop-in free (with admission) mini-classes twice each month. On-site field trips and outreach classes provide standards-based science education for school groups in fourteen Western NC counties. Evening programs for adults provide an opportunity to expand their science literacy while enjoying drinks, good company, and exclusive museum access.
