What you get: Machine Pilates Class Pilates is named for its creator, Joseph Pilates, who developed the exercises in the 1920s that he called Contrology. Pilates training is a system which biomechanically reprograms and reconnects all the movements of your arms and legs to your abdominal “core”. This will allow you to work your abdominals every time you move. Pilates training is used to strengthen your “core” by bringing each of your muscle groups into balance, creating a BEAUTIFUL body. Pilates machine training is performed by a mixed-use of Pulley Suspension, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Reformer and Chisel tools. Working with a periodization schedule, “easy week”, “moderate week”, “hard week”, and “extreme week” the body changes and adapts to the variation of intensity and constant new movement of progressions and routines. Mirrored ceilings and walls keep you training in great form. Master Trainer Nikki Perkovich teaches all machine classes.
