Nanuk - A Chocolate Caramel Treat

What you get: Nanuk (meaning Polar Bear in Inuit)- A white chocolate treat dusted with coconut and filled with caramel and chopped almonds These treats are made by young people with autism and for every Nanuk sold a donation is made to Polar Bears International. Special Treats is a boutique chocolate shop. We specialize in chocolates made by people with disabilities at non-profit workshops all over the USA, and we exclusively employ people with disabilities to work here. Our team makes our own chocolate creations, Smoky Mountain Whiskey Crackers (R) and Raspberry Coffee Bean Bark, as well as gourmet popcorn. We were the Arc of the Triangle 2018 Employer of the Year and we are a job training site for Special Ed students from the Chapel Hill-Carrboro School District. Finalist in the Indy Week “2018 Best of the Triangle” competition. Voted “Most Loved Candy Shop” in Chapel Hill-Durham on Hulafrog. We offer free local delivery for gift baskets. We recently moved to a larger space in the same shopping center to offer more chocolate, a juice bar, wine & beer and live music.
