*Available at the Carrboro Cafe and Bar Only* What you get: Your choice of a pastry and coffee or tea Carrboro locals have frequented the Looking Glass Cafe for over eight years. Founded by a mother-daughter entrepreneur team of Susan Manring and Carolyn Griggs, the location has become an important community gathering place. In 2017, in an attempt to develop operational and staff synergies with the three-season Honeysuckle Tea House, local investors purchased the Looking Glass Cafe. At the end of 2018, Unique Places to Save purchased a 50% interest in the Looking Glass Cafe and rebranded the property as the Honeysuckle Cafe and Bar. Concurrently, we began rolling out more local and healthy food options and opened a bar space that features our Honeysuckle Mead, and other hyper-local beers, wines and ciders.
